Looplex Monitoring is the information capture and monitoring service that keeps the Looplex platform connected to developments relevant to legal work. It brings together data and documents from public sources and the organization’s systems, providing the context needed to track matters, analyze situations, generate content, and carry out automated activities.

This context may include a new court notice, a change to a company registration record, a document published on a public portal, or an update in the client’s customer service system. By connecting this information to the relevant matters and workflows, Monitoring helps people, systems, and AI agents work with current information.

Court Monitoring with Publicações Online

Court publications, notices, and docket updates are monitored through Publicações Online, a Looplex group company specializing in the capture and monitoring of court information.

This operation supplies the platform with information about cases, newly filed lawsuits, docket activity, and documents available from the sources being monitored. Captured data can be incorporated into Looplex Cases records and used by other platform capabilities to support analysis, generate alerts, and initiate workflows.

Clients can also connect other service providers through plug-ins, subject to available integrations and the contracted scope.

Capturing Context from Other Sources

Monitoring can also gather information needed for legal work from other public sources and the systems the organization uses.

Public sources. Information capture can extend to government portals, registration databases, administrative and regulatory publications, and other repositories relevant to the matters being monitored. For example, this can help identify a regulatory update or gather public information about a company to support an analysis.

Client systems. Through integrations, the service can retrieve data and documents from business management, customer service, contract management, operations, and financial systems, as well as document repositories. Information already held by the organization can then provide context for a case, transaction, or activity, reducing the need for manual searches and transfers.

Connections can use APIs, connectors, and robotic process automation (RPA), which interacts with system interfaces when needed. The access method is determined by the characteristics of each source and the permissions granted by the organization.

From Captured Data to Working Context

Information can be captured on a recurring basis to track updates, or on demand when a person or an automated workflow needs to gather information for a specific activity.

Data received from different sources is organized for use across the platform. Together with Looplex’s processing and AI capabilities, it can be normalized, reconciled, classified, and linked to the relevant cases, documents, people, or organizations.

For example, a new court notice can prompt a case update and initiate a workflow that queries the client’s systems for contracts, supporting records, and customer service history. Monitoring supplies the information that, taken together, enables Autopilot to analyze the case and carry out the work defined in the workflow.

The sources monitored, update frequency, and information captured depend on the contracted service, configured integrations, and access availability at each source.
