Looplex Workbench is the application that brings together the experience of working with Assistant in Autopilot mode. Lawyers use it to monitor delegated activities, provide instructions, and review deliverables associated with each matter or project.
Assistant is the product presented to the user; Autopilot describes how execution is conducted; Workbench is the environment where the professional monitors and guides that work.
Organization by Matter and Assignment
Each matter or project brings together its assignments, along with the relevant documents, interactions, and results.
Assignments are organized by specialty, such as defense preparation, contract review, due diligence, or legal opinions. The specialty identifies the type of activity; each assignment represents its execution for a specific matter.
This organization allows you to monitor different activities within the same matter and return to a deliverable with its instructions and context.
Conversation and Deliverables in the Same Environment
Workbench brings together interaction with Assistant and materials in progress. You can examine an analysis, clarify information, or request revisions to a draft within the context of the relevant assignment.
Instructions are directed to the work being performed. Users do not need to identify the agents or internal components involved in each operation.
The interaction can include new information and documents, subject to the permissions and capabilities available for the activity.
Monitoring Execution
Workbench allows you to check assignment progress and participate at designated intervention points.
An assignment can continue in the background and return to the professional when it needs clarification, review, or approval. Monitoring keeps available deliverables and requests requiring human participation visible.
Conversing with Assistant during this process is part of supervising work in Autopilot. The mode of use is defined by how the activity is conducted, even when interaction takes place through a conversational interface.
Reviewing and Updating Deliverables
Analyses and documents produced remain associated with the assignment. Professionals can examine them, compare versions, and request adjustments before approval, according to the solution’s capabilities.
New documents or clarifications may prompt updates to deliverables. When additional supporting material arrives, for example, Assistant can supplement an analysis and revise the related draft.
The change history helps explain how the result evolved. Review criteria, responsible individuals, and approval points follow the workflow configured by the organization.
How Work Reaches Workbench
Monitoring can begin with an assignment delegated by the user, a handoff from an interaction in Copilot mode, or execution initiated by a configured workflow.
Intelligence can contribute by interpreting an input and recommending an action. When that action results in a delegated assignment, Workbench brings together its execution and the participation of those responsible.
When a request goes through Works, the tool organizes intake, priority, and assignment. Workbench brings together interaction and oversight for the delegated work after the handoff.
Playbooks define the legal and operational criteria that guide this process. Routing and review stages respect the scope, responsibilities, and authorizations applicable to each activity.
Integration with Matters and Documents
Looplex Cases provides the matter’s records and context. Looplex Content makes documents available and can organize the deliverables produced.
Workbench maintains the relationship between that context, the professional’s instructions, and the results. Access takes account of the permissions applicable to the matter, documents, and assignment.
